The inaugural Photo18 Festival will be held from18 November 2016 to 18 January 2017 in Brussels.
Photo18 Festival, organised by the Hangar H18 art centre,is a major annual meeting devoted to photography, andbased around a meaningful theme.
‘Loving Earth’, the theme for 2016, explores the link between mankind and the Earth, through the lenses of landscape photographers.
The photographic exhibition, conceived on a museum scale, will also be the opportunity to hold lectures and workshops with the aim of understanding the conceptual and experimental relationship with the landscape. Some major players in the world (photographers, writers,environmental activists) will be invited to attend.
