Acacia Cliff, 2020

artist statement
Acacia Cliff is an apartment located in Austin, Texas. This place, which is rated 3.1 star on Google, is a warm home to some people and a cold shelter for others. People from different places and countries put down their roots here. It doesn’t matter if they like or dislike each other. It doesn’t matter if they are from a gang or a wealthy place. They live in this apartment together. The roots tangle each other and slowly become one tree. In the morning, deers and rabbits eat the grass around it; at night, squirrels climb on-top of the tree and fall asleep like it’s their own home. The tree makes a small world.
